7 Pumpkin Beer Cocktails to Welcome Fall

Posted by Kristen Creed on

Welcome, FALL! (This Friday, September 22, that is.) It’s time for cooled down camping trips, refreshing hikes, changing leaves and not-so-surprisingly pumpkin beer cocktails! Pumpkin beers, from breweries all across the States are tasty by themselves, but added to an autumn cocktail? Now we’re talking.

Hard Pumpkin Cider

What you need:

  • Your favorite pumpkin beer
  • Hard Apple Cider
  • Sparkling Cider
  • Cinnamon Sticks
  • Pumpkin Pie Spice

Mix three parts pumpkin beer, two parts hard cider and one part sparkling cider. Throw in a couple cinnamon sticks and sprinkle just a little pumpkin pie spice on top for a boozy beverage that screams “fall is here!”

Fall-garita

What you need:

  • 2 oz. tequila
  • 2 oz. pumpkin beer
  • 1 oz orange juice
  • 1 oz canned pumpkin
  • ½ oz agave
  • Orange slice and zest (for garnish)

Shake tequila, pumpkin beer, orange juice, canned pumpkin and agave together in a cocktail shaker. Serve over ice and garnish with orange slices and zest.

On the Edge Pumpkin Spicy Ale

What you need:

  • Your favorite pumpkin beer
  • 1 ½ tsp sugar
  • ¼ tsp cinnamon
  • ¼ tsp pumpkin pie spice

Combine the sugar, cinnamon and pumpkin pie spice. Rub the rim of your beer glass with water (like you would a martini glass) and coat the rim with the fall, spicy goodness.

The Easiest Pumpkin Beer Cocktail of them all

 What you need:

  • Your favorite pumpkin ale
  • Goldschlager

Pour your pumpkin beer in a glass, top with 1 ounce Goldschlager and enjoy!

Vanilla Bean Pumpkin Beer Cocktail

What you need:

  • Your favorite pumpkin beer
  • 1.5 oz. vanilla vodka

Pour the 1.5 ounce of vanilla vodka in the bottom of your pint glass and top with your pumpkin beer. Add cinnamon or pumpkin pie spice for a little extra fall flavor.

Whiskey + Pumpkin Paradise

What you need:

  • Your favorite pumpkin beer
  • 1 oz whiskey
  • 1 oz spiced fruit whiskey
  • Cinnamon to top

Pour whiskeys over ice. Top with the pumpkin beer and a dash of cinnamon.

Pumpkin Beer-Mosa

What you need:

  • Your favorite pumpkin beer
  • Orange juice

Mix together on a chilly Sunday morning and serve with all the brunch food!

Psst! Bookmark these beer cocktails for total Thanksgiving crowd pleasers. And as you ease even more into fall and skiing season, (we hope) you wouldn’t dare hit the slopes without Ski Balm on hand (and face.) Enjoy!
